“We went to marriage counseling; I went from church to church but the problem remained… I was depressed not knowing what to do or where to go anymore”. Constant fighting, anger and resentment was not the picture Mr & Mrs Shirley Makunyane had, when they married 28 years ago. But it had become the order of the day in their home.
So badly influenced by their relationship, Shirley’s daughter openly confessed to her mother that she had resolved not to marry in order to avoid the turmoil her mother was going through. During the turbulence days, Mr Makunyane always found disagreement and anger at home as the premise to look elsewhere for extra-marital affair, adding fuel to the already stoked fire!
While waiting for the court date of the settlement of the divorce Mrs Makunyane had filed for, she discovered Emmanuel TV and a new thought flashed through her mind, “If I could just step foot at The SCOAN, my situation would change.” Following that idea Mr & Mrs Makunyane came to The SCOAN and received a transformative touch that demolished any wall of hatred, resentment and trust between them.
After filing for divorce three times, the troubled couple came to The SCOAN. During the Sunday Service Prophet T.B. Joshua was ministering prayer and deliverance throughout the congregation, Mr & Mrs Makunyane received a touch that exposed the devil behind their tormented marriage.
“It was just out of this world. Life was brought back into my life. When I get back I will tell the lawyer to stop everything,”declared Mrs Makunyane as she held the third, most current divorce letter in her hand.
She explained that since that blessed day at The SCOAN, the couple started communicating and sharing the Word of God together. She even likened her extra time spent at The SCOAN to a Honeymoon!
To the glory of God, Mr Makunyane explained that when Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for them, “…my wife began to manifest and at the same time, I received deliverance as well.”
